Our Process
Done In-House builds more than websites. We create digital homes for you or your business. We believe that website development is like building a house. Just as a house needs a solid foundation, a clear blueprint, careful planning and expert craftsmanship, a website requires a strong technical foundation, a well-thought-out strategy, expert developers and a focus on user experience.
STEP 1: DISCOVERY
We start with a consultation where we take time to understand your needs and goals. What do you like about your current site and what is your vision for a new one? What functionality would you like to see? Do you have any favorite websites? What “problems” do you want solved? Who are your core customers and how do they reach you? Who is your competition? We will also review and discuss your brand, domain, current content, and how you would like to see it change.
STEP 2: THE BLUEPRINT (PLANNING)
Once we understand the scope of the project, Done In-House will develop a thorough project plan that identifies key project timelines and deliverables. We will set timelines for wireframing, content generation, web page design, testing and launch. Any content or images we need from you will be clearly defined at this time as well. Once complete, we will meet with you to finalize the site map. At this point you will have the chance to review and make site map changes or page additions.
STEP 3: LAYING THE FOUNDATIONAL DESIGN
This is the step where we finalize the site map and design the wireframe. We will also establish the website’s branding elements and content strategy.
Design is fundamental to our process. It’s what makes a house a home – and what makes your website stand out. We can apply your current logo and colors to the design and refresh your current site, or work with you to create a polished brand identity and a new online presence. Either way, we’ll make sure the results meet your preferences and style.
STEP 4: CONSTRUCTION
It’s time to build. At Done In-House we pay attention to every detail. We use WordPress to build your website from the ground up, ensuring that it meets your functional requirements and is optimized for user experience.
STEP 5: REVIEW
The final step of this process is a thorough site review and testing. Once initial construction is complete based on the original project scope, we will invite you to a thorough walk-through of the site. This is a point where minor changes in content can take place.
STEP 6: LAUNCH
After the final “walk-through” of your site, when everything is in place and approved, we go live. We offer hosting services for an annual fee or we can transfer everything to you. Once live, we will test the site again to make sure everything is top-notch.
STEP 7: ONGOING SUPPORT & MAINTENANCE
You now have an awesome site! How are you going to make sure it stays that way? It’s important to keep your website up-to-date and optimized for peak performance. If you’ve chosen to have us host the site, we will provide critical ongoing support and maintenance as needed.

His professional background extends 20+ years, focusing on process simplification, business development, and information systems management. People have shared that Ryan has a talent for explaining complex concepts using easy-to-understand language. In his spare time, he loves cooking, listening to music, and spending time with his wife and family.
Jennifer Tetter
Creative Director
Jennifer is energized by the creative process. As a graphic designer and marketer with over 20 years of experience, she enjoys crafting custom designs that bring clients’ visions to life. Her main role at Done In-House is managing all things creative including the look, feel and content of websites, client branding and logos, and print and social media design. During her free time Jennifer enjoys spending time painting, camping, singing and spending time with her husband and family.
